Hi @Pra123-,

I recommend that you get in touch with your operator regarding this feature, since it is dependant on the operator. Contact them and see if they have plans to launch the feature for your device.

An example of the benefits using VoLTE is being able to make high quality phone calls over LTE (4G) rather than 3G.

this a network dependent feature, so it would be better to get in touch with your network provider on how to activate it

This feature is dependant on the operator, therefore I recommend that you get in touch with them to see if they plan on rolling that feature for your specific phone model.

Hi my Xperia m5 not support volte but same sim support in other brand phone they support volte means it's not on operator it's on ur device support

VoLTE comes with the operator branded firmware, and will be more or less limited to that one operator (you can be lucky, but more often you will not be).

Just to clarify what I meant, the operator has to enable the feature for your specific device - this is not dependant on the SIM. My recommendation is that you get in touch with your specific operator to see if they plan to enable VoLTE for your specific device and their operator branding.

Is it the carrier or the manufacturer who make the phone 4G VoLTE enabled? I think it's the manufacturer as someone told me that it's a feature of the phone. And may I know why Sony Xperia z5 is 4G VoLTE enabled but not Sony Xperia M5 dual? Please do something to make Sony Xperia M5 dual VoLTE supported.

I talk to jio service provider they said your phone should be volte supported when I check out does my Soc support volte feature by dialing *#*#4636#*#* it shows turn off volte provisioned flag so if Sony roll out update then I it will start Supporting volte

Mediatek x10 supports volte feature why dont you roll out software update for volte support in Sony Xperia m5 dual. In India so user can use jio 4g

Hello everyone, I have received some additional information regarding the VoLTE feature. I am sorry to say that our Sony Xperia M5 model does not support VoLTE, according to the information that I have available. However, I would thank you all for the shown interest in such a feature and I will make sure to forward it internally as user feedback!

Any updates available to convert it into VoLTE. I mean any software update. Because I have here some brand have some software updates for there devices and now device are working as VoLTE.

It not depends on operator is on the manufacturer.And is only the software issue. And Z5 has VoLTE support then why not M5?
