I bought the M4 aqua because its an amazing phone.
The biggest headache is that it only has 8gig storage and ptp mode is disabled.

Does anyone know when sony will release a new update that will allow for ptp connection via usb?

The whole idea behind having an abdroid phone is not to have a phone that is locked down.
If we can get root access then at least we can change the default app storage location from 0 to 1.

This is unfair towards the cutomers that bought these cool devices.

Please find a fix for this or more and more people will start switching to the competitors who are not so locked down.

There is no reasob that we should not be able to connect ptp. This issue was raised last year already. Why does sony not fix it.

Moving of apps on SD card is a restriction of Android 5, not a SONY problem. Hopefully this month we will receive update to Android 6, and then every app can be moved/installed to SD card. This will resolve problem with free space on internal memory.
