I've got a new Xperia L1, battery went flat and now charged up it's asking for a password - I never set a password/PIN to unlock the screen; I've tried my Gmail password and that doesn't work either.

I also tried this going in through Google Find My Device as I saw you should be able to change the password remotely there, but it's just saying 'can't reach device.'

Any ideas? I don't want to do a factory reset and lose all photos etc. Thanks!
