topic L1 issus in L Series

Hi Iv just got an L1 but it doesn't seem to want to connect to my home broadband. As soon as it connects the internet doesn't want to work. The minute I disconnect the Wi-Fi everything else runs like nothing happened. It's like it interrupts the signal. The only help Iv had from my Wi-Fi provider is to reset my channels which I have done but it doesn't seem to make a difference. Any help would be grateful
