Xperia E5 microphone broke?

Now I know people have had problems with their mics when there phone charge is under 30%, but I always have my phone charged. It is normally 60 or above but no matter what charge I am on, my microphone only wristwatch on WhatsApp or audio speaker. Does anybody have a reason why this may happen and how I can fix it?

Test the phone

settings > about phone > diagnostics > test > test mic

Hi @TheMidgetMagma, sorry to hear about this.

As @uliwooly wrote, a good way to start is by testing the microphone outside of a call to see if it works in the test or not.

If it does not work in the test, try restarting your device in safe mode and do the test again while downloaded applications aren't loaded.
