Sony Xperia E5 won't charge

I put my sony on charge last night when it was on 30%. I woke up this morning to it on 5%. I let it drain and recharged it. This time it only when to 1% and then died again. Its been on charge most of the day and hasn't charged. now because of this it won't turn on. I am unsure of what to do now. Please help

Hi @Alexa259, I'm very sorry to hear this.

Could you try pressing the volume up (+) key and the power key at the same time for 5-10 seconds? If the phone vibrates three times when doing this, let it charge for one hour and then try to power it on again.

If nothing happens, however, I'm afraid that your device needs to be sent in for repair. Your Local support team can provide you with more information on how to proceed with this if need be.
