      <description>&lt;P&gt;im trying to find out why the network settings are set to 4g but top of screen always displays 3g thank in advance&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="https://community.sony.co.uk/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/958764"&gt;@jonah1&lt;/A&gt;, sorry to hear about this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Have you been able to connect to a 4G network previously and 4G/LTE have been displayed in the status bar of your device or is 3G the best connection that you have been able to get with your phone?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;First of all, does your subscription plan support 4G and does your service provider support 4G in your location? If you are unsure about this you will need to get in touch with your service provider (operator) and they will be able to provide you with this information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also make sure that you are connected to your operators 4G/LTE network by doing a network search in your phone and see if you are able to both see the 4G/LTE network and register on it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;To start this search, go to Settings &amp;gt; More &amp;gt; Mobile networks &amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;Network operators &amp;gt; Tap Search mode, then select Manual, when the search is done you will see a small house icon next to your operators network and hopefully the LTE or 4G icon, tap on that!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Let me know how it went! &lt;IMG class="lia-deferred-image lia-image-emoji" src="https://community.sony.com.mk/html/images/smilies/011.png" alt="Slightly_smiling_Face" title="Slightly_smiling_Face" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
