D2203 is reset every time the power button is push

Dear all,

I bought a D2203 two weeks ago and since yesterday every time I try to turn off the screen pushing the power button, the mobile hangs up for few seconds and it is reset (it appears the Sony, android and the PIN is requested)

If the screen turns off because no activity, I've checked the phone is on calling it. But if I press the power button to turn on the screen, the cell is reset in the same way ot happens when I want to turn off the display.

I cannot enter in safe mode, every time I push the power button the effect is the same, a reset.

Have you experienced that? How have you solved it?

Try using Sony PC Companion to repair it.

Yes, I've choosen the update software option, then a message box has appeared with a note and the link for the repair option.

Step 2 prepare has been completed, I've followed the steps to connect the phone and then PCC has showed the message saying there was no software available.

Have I missed any step?

Once I've connected the phone following the process the notification light turned on in red, changed to green and the application show the message.

BTW, yesterday I performed a Factory reset data and the problem didn't solved.

Hello everyone...my otg support is now dead. I try to insert usb flash drive on otg cable and the device just keep blinking. I turn off the phone without removing the cable knowing it just need a reboot but when i restarted the phone the pendrive does not light anymore and it was not detected. Until now when i try to insert that cable together with usb flash dive nothings happened. I try different cable same problem occured...i try to insert my cable and flash drive in other unit it functioned normally...My unit is Xperia E3 D2203...please help me to solve this issue...

i tried to format my phone still the problem exist. I brought it to the store where i bought the phone the sales lady says that its the first time they encountered this problem...

Don't worry, I have the exact same problem. The people who sold it to me will repair it under warranty apparently. Worrying that this seems to affect many models.

The odd thing is that sometimes, the problem just goes away. With it then re-appearing a couple of days later.

I tried to so as well but now my device is acting like crazy. If I move an app to the SD card, the ico disappears and I have to move it again to the phone to see it.

Dear buddy , I have the same problem... Your post was of 2015.. hope you found the solution... How u fixed it... I did

1. Factory reset - dint work

2. Xperia Campanion repair - dint work

3. Sent to repair shop for updation of software- dint work
