HI admin,

Plz fix my problem..... mob screen is in blank, i cant able to restart or on.......whn i use to on the mob is show blank screen .....wheather it is in on or off.... when i receiv call the mob ringing but display is in black...kindly resolve my issues.

Can you try holding down the Power key and the Volume Up key and allow the device to restart, if the issues continues, I suggest taking the device back to the place of purchase.

Same problem.. i was talking on ohone, ends call.. and my screen never showed up after that..
my LED notification light is still working.. sound vibration everything is fine.. but no display..
even Power + Up volume key not working..
what should i do?

Repair your phone software through SUS.If problem persists, go to Sony repair centre.

I got this same problem. On phone calls, the Screen goes blank 50 % of the time. Dont know what the problem is. And the only way to cut the call is from the other user. else the call will continue.

at times if i press and hold the power button for some time the screen blinks for a sec and i would be lucky if i could end the call at the moment and i will be able to see the screen again.

This bug drives me nutts most of the time.

same problem for me also,i brought this phone only before 3 days,.

2day i gone service centre and got DOA after a long fite with thm,while am sitting over service centre more than 20 people comes with xperia c havng same problem .this is a internationely flop model.

I am also facing this problem from the day I bought. Proximity sensor issue(often) and mobile screen goes blank sometimes(2 times so far in 40 days).

Here in coimbatore, service center is too worst.

However I like this so much and dont make me to take some other phones.

please provide a solution.

I had the same problem of screen blacking out after calls got connected for both outgoing and incoming calls. And after call ended, screen refused to light up even after several pressing of power or volume buttons. One feature that I had all this while is that I had enabled STAMINA mode so that during phone standby, mobile data, blue tooth, WIFI are disabled. But I think this is where the problem lies.

I disabled STAMINA mode and then got someone to call me. After answering the call, I observed that the screen still remains lighted up and subsequently I was able to end the call normally by pressing the on-screen End button. You might want to give this a try and verify to see if it works for you. Happy Holidays everyone!

TRY BACK LIGHT "ON"

This will solve the problem, not STAMINA mode. I have fixed this by switch on back light.

Try to force the device to shut down

Remove back cover
Using a fine tip object press and hold down the OFF button until the device shuts down (beside the sim2)

My device went in black screen after the youtube app crashed.
I tried this and it worked for me.

Thanks for the suggestion. It worked for me.

But there is one more issue with Xperia C. Handset gets heated while we use it for continue 2-3 hrs..

If you use it intensely,it is normal to heat up.Boot your phone in safe mode and see if it still heats up after some time:

My xperia-C ALSO HAVE SAME PROBLEM. PHONE IS ON. RINGING BUT NOT SHOWN ANYTHING. SCREEN IS BLANK. GIVEN TO SONY SERVICE CENTRE AT BIKANER.

I also have the same problem with my xperia C which is only 2 months old. It is still under warranty so I sent it to their service center here in Doha, Qatar. Then after a few days somebody from the svc center called and told me that I have to pay a certain amount which is almost half of the price when I bought the phone because they have to replace the motherboard which was damaged due to liquid contamination. I was so shocked to hear that my phone got wet without me getting it wet. I told them that I am not that stupid to send my phone if I have got it wet accidentally because for sure any electric item when comes in contact with water, warranty will be voided and is as good as trash. I also told them thatfor sure if I got the phone wet it would not only be the motherboard that will be destroyed of course all the other parts should also leave marks that they have been contaminated with water. They told me its only the motherboard. I asked them of any possibilities that liquid can contaminate my phone without me knowing it. They told me that maybe because of my hands perspiring or due to extreme humidity the interior of the phone got moist. I told them that it is not in my control anymore. I also told them that if this would be the case, even if they replace the motherboard, i will just waste my money since it cannot stand humidity or perspiring hands I would still have the same problem after 2 months again. So does this means that sony is producing celphones that cannot stand this kind of situations? Why the **bleep** do I have to pay that much to buy this rubbish product from Sony? So does that shows that Sony is a stupid company producing phones that cannot stand perspiring hands and humidity? Anyway, I still insisted that they should repair my phone or better yet replace it maybe this phone are one of their factory rejects that got away from the inspection and this comes to show a great dowgrade on sony products reliability after all these years.

Faced the same problem just a while ago, but luckily had an internet access over PC, So found the solution.
Hope problem'll not rise up again in the future.
