Sony Xperia c wont turn on!

Hi,

My Experia c5303 will not turn on.

The notification light glows green but nothing else. It glows red when the charger is plugged in. Holding down the volume up and power buttons makes no difference and when the back is removed and the power off button IS held in the green light stays on.

It just does nothing. Please help.

Keep it charging for one hour,repair with sony update service after.

just try what alexdon suggest. if the phone can enter flashmode(hold vol down while pluggin the usb) then your phone still can be restored.

Try to charge the phone at a wall socket for 1 hour.After that,force shutdown the device(press the little button on the back).Repair via sony update service:

Hold volume up key +power key for 10-15 secs, this will virtually disconnect and reconnect battery, then power on using power key

it worked for me

hey, same problem is going on with me and the sony update service is no more available.
My phone is stucked on boot screen logo . .and nothing , its going on and on and on . . .. and nothing.

Please help me out of this.

just repair it with the pcc or download ftf file and flash it via flashtool...may be the software is corrupted

I have the same problem my phone wont turn on the advice is update the phone system I can't update because my pc wont recognize the phone via usb connect unless it will turn on how could I do your sugestion

Wrong recovery I did I think. Only RED light appearing after connecting phone to charger or pc via usb. It tries to install and detect drivers but after that nothing happens. WMSHUA detects first time and installed the drivers. After that it is not connecting phone for further processing. Only red light is there. Does going to service center is the final solution? Sony update service is not available now. Please suggest me some way if possible..

Screen locked out and would not turn off tried all things to get running nothing worked UNTIL! took off back cover saw button marked off, pressed button, seemed to disconnect battery. Re start everything worked.......

my xperia c is not turning on.

nothing is diplayed on screen . Only red light glows while charging and nothing happened.

I tried using power key + vol up key but nothing is going on....

(Sony Xperia C 2305) When i charge it mins later it turns off then it won't turn on again how can i troubleshoot it? I tried pressing the power button and the volumes button and hold it for seconds but nothing happens. Anyone need help.

My phone itselft switch off and nowit didn't started.......light blows with sony text and stay for 1-2 seconds after restart and same as long time and phone does not start

I have Experia C3 and my issue was I drained my battery to 0% while I was watching a video on You tube. Then I plugged in the charger(Not sony original charger :smileysmileywink: ) Then mobile didn't respond, only thing I could see was red light

Now How I resolved this issue:

I had already faced this issue earlier but couldn't recall how I resolved then so I decided to note it down this time(although it took me 2 hours to sort it out) . below are the steps:

1.) If you have been charging your phone for some time and still unable to start then you have to drain it again fully sad but you have to, and if your phone is already dead that's a good news for us now.(how to drain : keep pressing power button along with volume buttons that is the only way to drain or if you could pull out the battery that'll be awesome but I couldn't pull out mine as I was too afraid to pull it out without breaking any circuit as it feels like battery is glued to phone )

2.) Now before this point your phone shouldn't be displaying any red indication (means you are out of hang mode) now you have to do is press power button again so that red light blinks and battery logo appears on the screen, If this happens wallah you are done with the procedure.(keep in mind that this is very importnat that on pressing power button you see blinking red notification light and battery symbol on screen Caution : you have to do this step without attaching to power source, means after step 1 red light goes off and then you again press power button otherwise if red light comes and doesn't blink you are back to step 1 )

3.) If you get red battery symbol attach the power source and then you'll see the battery symbol with charging icon on top and it'll soon become green then you can start by holding power button for some time.( Tip:you have to press power button once and leave then only battery symbol shows up)
