xperia c software issues

i will tell you the bugs in the software and we need un update very soon !!

1- in battery consumption phone radio is killing the battery more than 40% always although im using 1sim or 2 sim with very good network coverage ..this bug is with mos xperia c users
2- Battery when reaches 30% it drains very fast till 13% ..all xperia c users face this proplems
3-only 1 gb from the 4gb internal memory can install apps on it ..come on ! i had a low ranged lg phone with also 4gb and we can install apps on 2.5 gb from the 4 gb ..now with a midranged sony we cant and there is another 1.2 gb unused so why ?
4- when you drag notification bar with 2 fingers it shows another notification panel ..it has a tab of your information (your name ..number and pic )) when you change your picture it doesnt appear its always blank ..

we need an update to fix the bugs we are not demanding kitkat just make our phone not useless !

1) Camera is BIG let down...tried all kind of settings, but still the picture quality is crap.
2) Shortcut/Widget of the Apps that are installed (moved) to SD card will get wiped out from the hoem screen after every reboot.

3) Ring tone switches to 'default' after every reboot.

I believe 2) & 3) can easily be resolved in the software and should be made avaiable in the very next update?

Sony - are you listening me?

I agree with your first complaint but not with the other two. Camera and video playback quality is not upto the mark. I prefer Sony because of these two advantages over other brands but Sony has dissapointed me in Xperia C.

Problems in Xperia C

Dear Johan, Uliwooly, Rickard and all other Sony moderators,

I have been using Xperia C for the last 3 weeks and very much dissapointed with its display and camera results, also after reading all the posts I feel that this set certainly has some deffects which should be brought to the notice of Sony. If possible we should get these problems removed through an update. Sony has come out with just a few dual sim phones and this was supposed to be the best, but with this set the image of Sony has gone down further. I feel the main culprit in this set is the MediaTek processor used for the first time by Sony. We should get a fair deal.

Dear friend,

If you think that only your device have this problem and other Xperia C are fine then dont waste another second and run to your nearest service centre(Authorised)......since its just 3 weeks u are well in warrenty and theres a chance that sony give u a fresh device .....But if its same in all c device then sorry i dont see any chance of it......

okay, atleast i was able to overcome the issue #1 from my list.

After I installed 'Nova Launcher', i do not see 'icons going off after reboot' issue. I know that this is just a temporary solution and Sony still needs to work on this, but atleast we have a temporary solution till that time.

I am using Next Launcher and do not have a problem of icons vanishing after reboot, also ringtone never changes to default. If you are having such problems do a reinstall of mobile software through PC companion.( you must first backup all your data)

I have already given my set to service centre but do not expect these problems to be removed, because most of the users are getting even worse problems. I say Sony should call back Xperia C from the market and users as this is the worst model it has made till now.

Update these problems asap
Mainly the camera it is too slow
And the filters are just for the formality remove them to make it fast

same problems is been faced by me. Sony have to do some bug fixing for this, otherwise its a total waste for money.

Can anyone please help.

I cannot see the usb connectivity just after i turned mu usb debugging mode on.

Now even after i have turned it off , still , when i connect throgh cable , it doesn't shows USB connections.

Hi dear friends

I purchased Sony C with lot of hopes but frustrated with the product many problems its have

1. Radio F M clarity is not good, regarding this given to service they not respond properly

2. its take to charge the battery minimum of 4 hours

3. Music output is not upto the mark

4, When ever i give to service they give back with new problem

really fedup with the sony xperia-C its a dead investment.

purchased with lot of expectation

service people not at all respond properly, its a just one month mobile given to service till now 5 times

but still problem not resolved,,

Xperia c has a poor internal storage of 1.20 gb that **bleep** every time when i installed any sort of app.although camera is 8mp, it is not clear much. I must say that different cell 5 or 3 mp camera is better,than xxperia c cam it always takes blury pics pixels always **bleep**. Poor cam ,, internal ststorage, poor display that is xperia c, thnkxxx

Xperia c is the worst phone I ve used till now with a bad camera,battery and moreover the phone heats up so much..I went to Sony care with this problem and wat they told me" ITS A COMMON PROBLEM"..do something to change this common problem or stop selling bull**bleep** mobiles.
