Touch screen problem

Really struggling with the touch of Xperia C4. Already tried the following:

1. Removed the tempered glass
2. Factory reset
3. Repaired software through PC companion

The touch works fine for some time and then again goes haywire. Sometimes even stop responding.

The phone is almost 14 months old and was working fine till yesterday.

Even in safe mode (either with glove mode On or Off), the phone works fine for some time but then again starts behaving abnormally.

Actually, the phone is out of warranty, thats why I want to try all I can before having to shell out a lot of money to Sony once again only after one year of purchasing an expensive mobile phone.

you could buy a new Display and replace it yourself BUT that might not solve the issue.

Touch screen is not aligned properly. Replacing will not fix the problem. It will start again after few days/month. I fix the problem by hitting every corner of screen (c4 dual)

Hi @jo_ker,

The only way to ensure that the device is properly examined and repaired by a trained technician is to have it handed in to an authorized service center. In order to do so, you can get in touch with your Local support as previously mentioned in this thread.

Touchscreen not working

Good afternoon.
I have had problems with the sony xperia c4. After using the smartphone for 6 months, the problems started with the smartphone.
1) First stopped working touchscreen. Could not use the right letters and symbols. I choose the letter "S" and tachskrin I chooses either another letter or several letters. And on the main screen itself run installed applications. I did reset all settings back to factory settings – did not help. I haven't used a smartphone, then decided to use it again. To my surprise, the phone earned normally, but after using smartphone for 1 month, touchscreen again stopped working.
2) After connecting the phone to computer via USB cable, the smartphone is turned off and is not included. That is the screen went out and unresponsive, only the yellow led is lit.

Sorry to hear about your phone.

Have you tested the display in Diagnostics? If not, go to Settings > About phone > Diagnostics > Test > Display. Are you able to clear the entire surface?

I bought Mobile sony xperia c4 New Ertonh After less than a month and a half , and i found that touch sometimes attaches too much and sometimes works well and this bothers me a lot and when i looked at this topic I discovered that most of the owners of the same mobile suffer from the same problem ... please help me

Hi @AshrafAdel,

I am sorry to hear that.

What do you mean by that it attaches too much? Have you tried the display in Diagnostics as mentioned previously in this thread? If not, I recommend that you do so in order to see if it behaves correctly.

You can also try and see if the same thing occurs in safe mode.
