Too much of battery drain

It's been a year so far i using Xperia c5 ulta dual but never faced such a problem. I just can't understand how my phone being idle can drain so much of battery about 56%. Please help me to get through it.

Hi @ybhatt05, I am sorry to hear about that.

Could you try to see what the major reasons for depleting the battery are? To do so, charge your device to 100%, then use it as you would normally down to about 5%. Once you've done so, go to Settings > Battery > Press the battery icon. Could you take screenshots of this list and PM it to me so that I can have a look?

Sir the battery drainy a lot after android marshmallow battery status is 40% WiFi 10% phone idle 8% screen 1% voice calls i used in any other phone i got before to leave wifi open while iam home and never cross over 10% but c5 ultra 40% why..... Please fix it

If I understood you correctly, you are wondering why Phone Idle is so high up in the list?

It indicates how much of your battery has been depleted while the device was in Idle. Judging from your screenshots I can see that the Wi-Fi was on constantly during the night, you at time had a bit of a poor network coverage and the device was kept on from time to time (I imagine it could be due to syncs of sorts or something similar). Considering these factors it is not unusual that your Idle state drained a large part of the battery considering not many other apps were a major cause.

Yeah that's right. Actually I use WiFi at my college and there no network is available.
So restricting my WiFi usage would be able to sort out the problem?

Well, I would not call it a problem - it is completely natural that you'll get information about "Phone idle" draining battery if your device has done so in an idle state. However, you are right in that restricting Wi-Fi will lead to improved battery compared to having it activated.
