Poor battery

My is very bad.. It decrease to the half without using it someone told me to use Xperia companion and it will get better.. Is that true

Welcome to the community,

I am sorry to hear about the battery life so that we have a better understanding of your battery drain, are you able to discharge the battery to around 10%, once done charge it to 100% and use it per normal.

Once the handset gets down to around 10% again can you take a screenshot of the battery usage stats?

Apps > Settings > Power management/Battery > Battery Usage

Yes it's true, repair can help. But try another things turn off internet (gpsr, wifi, even 3D and 4G) connections. Try in safe mode (push turn off key in right side of smartphone, then push and hold on "turn off" and by insturction averything do). After that try to leave smartphone for a while and check about changes. The first try various things. Coz if don't use smartphone it doesn't mean that something bad with it, maybe you installe third part apps like i did - Kaspersky, which killing battery life very much and blocking stamina mode, battery draining very fast in every minutes. I'm trying to solve this problem too, coz i'm not sure that after official technical support work in my country (it's authorized service which fixing Sony smartphones in my country), smartphone working fine. My opinion draining a little too fast, but i'm trying to test first as i wrote with safe mode and ect. So the first do that... If you see that battery still draining very fast and nothing helps then need bring to technical support center in your country. It's my opinion, i wrote what i do and did before... Good luck

By the way did not received Marshmallow yet, so if you got and updated to marshmallow, try to repair first. Coz after update possible, that can darin battery how i understood from others..

Okay.. I'll try turning to safe mode.. And yes my phone is updated to marshmallow weeks ago but this problem has been before that... But how I can what application is a third party application?!

If you update to Marshmallow i heard that after update is problem with battery life, but how i know is releasing small update to fix that, try in xpericheck.com seek when update will be available for your region, also in Sony Mobile by IMEI you can check that and don't forget you will get notification when update will be available for you. Third application is which you installed from Google Play or other place. Application which wasn't installed original when you bought smartphone. When you turn on safe mode, will disable how i know all third application, so don't scare, after restart of smartphone everything will back to normal place Welcome

Thanks a lot I think my battery isn't the problem I've to delete some applications my phone was 100 10 hours ago and now it is 86 ( I didn't use it much only a 30 minutes film) and I will try Xperia companion too

Battery performance is atrocious. Just drains out in 3,hrs. If completely charged before going to bed, the next morning it's just 20%. If you tell me to keep in stamina mode then what's the use of purchasing this phone. Repenting on wrong investment.
