topic Screen rotation problem in C Series

I am a C4 user for over a year now and recently I've been encountering screen rotation problems when using apps w/c have default landscape mode. Instead of landscape they are showing up on portrait mode. At first I tried turning on/off the auto-rotate option but nothing happens. The ony option is restarting my phone w/c is very time consuming. I've been researching ways to solve this but most of the solutions talk about sensor calibration, an option not available on my phone.
