C4 - Freeze, screen off

Hi,

I just bought Sony C4 , 2 weeks ago.

Yesterday the phone suddenly frozen. The screen is off, even though i push the on button the screen does not light up.

I tried to call, the ringtone is on, but the sceen still black.

After 3 hours, the phone starts working again.

Today, the phone is frozen again and still not working until now.

Since I cannot pull out the battery I cannot do anything with the phone.

I cannot turn it off also and it is frustating ...

I dont use a lot of application, only use Whatsapp, messaging, phone call.

I dont install heavy programs like games, videos, etc.

Can you help me what should I do?

Is there any way to turn off my phone ? (in older phone, I can take out the battery)

Welcome to the community.

If your device locks up you can force it to shut down by holding the power and volume up buttons at the same time.

If this is happening too frequently, you might want to try doing a software repair.

I had the same problem but i was using a cristal protector on the screen so i pulled ir out and the problem was resolved!
