Touch screen..glove mode..

Goodpm sir..

I had problem on my screen sensitivity particularly on lower part. Then suddenly i discover gloves mode and it really helps but the circular thing appear when i press on screen that makes me destructed. Can i remove that thing??or can u make next update to remove that..but much better in next update will be focusing screen sensitivity even without turning on gloves mode screen must fine..thanks...

What do you mean by the circular thing? are you referring to Google Now?

I think the circular thing is the feedback from glove mode feature as you touch the screen.

yup the feedback from globe mode it destructs me. is there any way to increase the sensitivity of c5 screen without using glove mode??

Welcome to the community.

That the circle is part of how glove mode works, I'm afraid there isn't much we can suggest to remove that.

Could you please elaborate on the issues with touch screen sensitivity you have been having?

like in playing clash of clan ..its hard to collect gold and elixir ..i mean is you need to be accurate when clicking to activate the touch..

i forgot to say i had installed tempered glass..is it ok??please help me its too hard to swipe or press anything in my screen it took 3-5x just to activate the screen sensitivity ..thanks..

Yes, I also have the same problem. The keyboard on my Xperia C5 is not sensitive, expecially on the lower part like "N" and "Space" button. I must press that virtual button more hardly... 😔

Hi Team,

I have purchased new experia c5 ultra dual just before 5 months, but let me tell you, it is very hectic and irritating phone just because of its touch problem..

Touch is not at all sensitive , if i want to send a message or while typing anything touch is not proper..

Please give me proper soution.. i am not satisfied with the touch quality..

This is the WORST phone I've ever owned.

Touch is really irritating so I have to use glove mode all the time... Probably it could be software polished but sony obiously doesn't care.

Since last update battery drain is also present.

Sony had good battery life but android (phones and TVs) are total mess.

It's becoming epidemic, many C5 users are complaining about the same but my C5 don't do that so it has to be a bad batch.

Make valid your warranty, the C5 is a great phone, and trust me I am not paid to say that!

I realised after I updated to 6.0, the glove mode no longer have the irritating circle thing. Does anyone experience the same also?

I updated to 6.0 and glove mode still has the circles on my C5 Ultra. I have had 4 Sony Xperia and this is the only one that ever had a glove mode or needed a glove mode to make the screen work. I had tempered glass and Ghost Armor and the screen response did not change, . I clean the screen several times a day and the screen response does not improve. Without glove mode the phone is frustrating and unusable. With glove mode, the screen is OK but becomes too sensitive and registers phantom touches after a while, very annoying. Are all of these C5 phones affected or is there a fix?

If your phone was root, replace exist images with blank images at /system/somc/touch/images, the circles will remove

C5 Ultra is one of the best Sony's mid-rage (or super mid-rage how called Sony it) smartphone and if you have some problems with using it, try the first to find problem and fix it, before you complaining here. Often is guilty same user - not device, coz user don't know how to normal use it

About screen touch problem read here, if you still will have problem try repair it. A lot of time repair helping much more neither complains

By the way about Sony's TVs yours feedback is totally lie, coz Sony's TVs are one of the best in the all world. That knows everybody, all experts saying that.

And about C5 Ultra i can say just some minus like: missed IP68 certified (this is mistake my opinion of Sony, coz water protection have much more worst mid-rage models, C5 Ultra as i mentioned classifielded as super mid-rage smartphone. Also missed quick charge or fingerprint. All others things is perfect in this model (keep in mind that this is mid-range model, not flagship)
