sony c4 charging problem

hi guys

I bought sony c4 some months ago and suddenly last month it started not to charge at all when it is on i have to turn it off first then i connect it to the charger then it charges so i do not know what is the problem because if my usb is damage it won't accept charging at all but it only charges whn it is off

How to boot on safe mode on Lolipop
1. press and hold the power key
2. once you get the pop up menu
3. press and hold "power off"
4. Boot on safe mode should become available

i tried to boot my mobile in safe mood but it continuoues with the same problem it only charges when it is off have you any Idea what the problem is ?

bit weird problem, have you tried any other charger ?

Also check if software repair do helps to you ...!

but the probles is that i can't do any of your suggested solution because my phone desn't recognize usb when it's on so I can't connect it to my pc It only recognize usb when It's off

The phone doesn't have to be on to repair it with PCC, but it has to be charged > software repair using PC Companion

I am also having the same issue and I have tried all the solutions mentioned here but no use. I have approached sony authorised service centre they are saying mother board NEED to be replaced which cost INR 10000. BUT I am not convinced because it is working fine till the charge is there. It will not charge more than 1% . Any suggestion on this?
