Too large text size

Hi.
Xperia C5 Ultra have replaced Z Ultra as my mobile device.
It has best size for me both to carry it and to view web sites.

But the text size seems too large for 6 inches display.
It may be the size of 4 or 5 inches display smartphone, I think.
In this point, Z Ultra is much better than C5 Ultra.

Is it possible to be improved by updating in the future?
(Or nobody think so except I?)

Hi,

Have you tried to change the font size via Settings > Display > Font size? Here you can find the option Small which I would say looks good for C5 Ultra.

Yes, my Xperia's font size have already been set "Small".

I do not think that it matches 6 inched display.

(Maybe it is good for my old father...)

Z Ultra has much more small text initially.

That looks best text size as a phablet.

Okay, well it's not much more that you can do as standard from the phone. But I will forward your feedback internally. Perhaps you can download a third party launcher (Nova Launcher e.g) via Google Play which can optimize the phone further.

Thank you. I hope that we will get another text size setting property.

I have taken a picture of comparing two Ultras display, Xperia Z ultra and C5 Ultra. Both text size is set "normal". Z ultra's text and all other items are much smaller though Z Ultra has larger display (6.4 inches). We can get much less informations per page from C5 than from Z. I think that C5 should show more items in 1 screen.

Im planning to buy the c5 ultra since i fell in love with its front facing cam. But transitioning from a blackberry q10 id love my text messaging font size really small. & this issue bothers me that theres no other option to make font go smaller hope you can make some changes soon

Totally agree with you. I used Z Ultra before I change to C5 Dual.

Now I feel like old man, using big screen with big font

Using other launcher is not solaution (for me).

Really unpleasant to use.

Hoping Sony will make Z Ultra 2....

Hi Sony, would you able to have an software update regarding this? I'm using C5 ultra as well and it has very large font size as well the display. Even if i change the font size into small but still it's too large. I now prefer using iphone.
