Go to settings> apps- you can uninstall all apps that you see there. To free more space on phone memory install app manager III (app2sd) and move your apps to sd card, thus u will get enough free memory.

First uninstall all those heavy apps., then reinstall them from play store, now you can move them to external memory. If u root your phone u can remove many apps from phone memory and later reinstall on sd card if required.

Hi there,

Unfortunately there is no solution!

Simply, With Jelly Bean You can't move app to sd card.

Apps such as App2SD require rooted phone, but then You are losing your warranty.

Search the forum and you'll find a lot of topics related on your inquiry.

Cheers.

I have Sony Xperia C. My device memory (0.98 GB) is almost full (85 MB free). I have not installed anything on my device memory. I transferred all the apps from device memory to SD card except google apps that are incorporated with the android software. I have also clrared the phones cache. Now I am unable to install apps or update apps using play store since the device memory is full. Further, there is internal memory of 1.21 GB that cannot be linked to play store so that apps can be installed there. Please help me to solve the problem. Is there a way to merge the device memory and internal storage of my phone. It us similar to c drive and d drive of windows PC. And in xperia C all softwares are being installed in the c drive i.e. Device memory by default from google play store. And it is impossible to install big apps or games of 500 MB into my phone.

Please please please help.

Regards,
Amit

This is just a temporary solution. I have performed this as well. And just to re confirm all my apps are installed on sd card. Although all apps are installed on sd card but still some data is saved on phone memory. Further, when we play games installed on sd card, the saved gAme data keeps on building in the phone memory. This is really disgusting on part of sony to have separate phone memory and internal memory.
