Xperia C3 / C3 Dual Lollipop Issues and Feedback

This thread is for C3 users to report any bugs after lollipop, before you do so, try the following:

If your battery drain faster or the phone seems slower or apps are crashing, it'll be wise to reinstall lollipop with PCC

even better if you update deleting all the apps and settings, keep in mind that by doing so, you can not use the backup & restore app to restore anything.

Because of the limited RAM (1GB) the C3 won't get multi user support

"The reason for that multi user functionality has not been implemented is the amount of RAM (1GB) so i'm afraid this feature is not supported on this phone. "

While the bug in rear cam is fixed by lolipop update, but there is a serious bug in front cam for the users to suffer. In kitkat the front cam worked superb. But now it captures dark images. Because of this front cam flash is useless. Icons are very big. Reduce the size a little please. And then, where is the multiuser feature of lolipop? I am very much dissapointed because it's not there. Please Sony add that feature also please. .

First of all thank you for providing C3 lollipop upgrade.
But after upgrade the icons look very big and cheap,doesn't feel premium as they use to be.also now there is no update center plz see to this.

After the update of sony Xperia C3 dual. Bugs are being associated with the front camera, which captures dark images in both low and high light conditions even with the flash. Is there any garuntee thet the bug is going to be fixed?

I guess its better to visit the service centre and downgrad to the factory installed version of kitkat, which is free from all sorts of bugs.

issues with update - lolipop

Hi there, hope someone would be able to advise and would have faced same issues. 1. Screen keeps moving a bit up n down when page is yet loading in Web browser. 2. Vedios cannot be moved forward..It continues to play, but only sound can be heard n vedios / picture is stuck at the last point from where we moved. 3. When press the button to check multiply apps, and if only 1 app is used recently, It should give option to go to home screen from there..This could be done in kitkat...

Where is this multi user accts? as there was no users in settings. Kindly post screen shot of where is the user can be seen in the setting? Because there was no such user in settings. Pls. Thanks.

There is no mutli user feature for c3 in this update.

Thanks for the update, the update is great and fixed all camera issues and is working fine but please add a resize option on default clock widget on homescreen as it Can't be placed at it's centre and I am not able to open simple home whenever I open it,it gets crashed and can't get opened

Your front cam works fine? zoom in a photo taken by the rear cam. It's so bad. Chechk it.@akshiv20

hi i too got the lollipop upgrade..but after reading the previous reviews people are saying issues with front camera....so did you find that problem? after reading these reviews im scared not to upgrade to lollipop now im doing with my kitkat so shall i upgrade or not please suggest..

Rear cam bugs were fixed,but it's clarity goes down.
No problem with battery backup. Perfomance also get increased. But cam both real and front become useless.
Music enhancement improved a lot.
There is no multi user support.
Icons are too large. I dont like it.

i have mailed many times to sony care asking for lollipop upgrade and what they did is spoil the camera...great...so have you uninstalled lollipop and again installed kitkat?

Nope. becoz there are a lot of apps and datas in internal storage. So I have to backup all these inorder to flash the kitkat version. Sony simply bring me to a task. . .nothing good from this update. But one thing I have to say that if the cam is perfect and multi user support is there then I really appreciate their work.
I ignore my complains about the icon size.
But now I am very dissapointed.
