phone wont turn on after pressing the reset button

help please. i've noticed my phone was hanging . battery was about 30%. i tried to turn it off by pressing the power button. when it was not responding i pressed the reset button at the back. i did it only once it turned off right away but now its not turning back on. i've read that i need to charge it until the led light turns green. but its been charging for about 2 hours now the light is still red. did the power-volume-button presaing already..please help me..my phone is not even 1 month old.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Try leaving the phone with the charger for a few more hours, just to be sure. If this doesn't work, I suggest that you try to repair the phone software using PC Companion..

Before repairing your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.

i've downloaded the PC Companion. I connect my phone to it but its stucked to the Detect portion. When I connect my phne the Sony logo appeared then the battery icon with the lightning in the middle. Should I wait for some time for the battery to get charged?Or should I keep on reconnecting the cable?Thanks

whew...Thanks a lot my phone is working now. I just tried to press the power button and it worked. Gave me quite a scare there..More power SONY..!

My Xperia C phone just went black yesterday but has been consistently blinking a white light and i have tried the hard restart but it wont come on. PLS HELP!!! i bough the phone just 3 weeks ago

I am facing this problem from last 3 months i bought in on aprel 2014 . And got a strucking problem in one month.i got it 9 timts till now .today morning i was using facebook app At tht time it got stucked.When it got strucked it does display anythig here .so when i press reset button and use the charger a red light appears on the phone.My friends also told me that they were not having the problem . Till now i have observed that the phone gets switched on after the battery gets drained,i gone to the service centre they said tht it should be formatted i did it but the same problen started continuing after 2 months and also i am not able to download apps from play store the error appears insuufficient memory though i have enough space in both memory card and internal.

So please reply me what to do after it gets booted up.

i ve got one experia z ultra from october 2013 , tere is 15 days is turned off while battery is on 47% and never light on = MORT SUBITE
i ve bougth the same smartphone last week
it goes on for one week and there is 3 days it turned off while battery is ok ans never restart ..= MORT SUBITE

ALL FORUMS ARE FULL OF THAT

just have to send my devise to the support

the first one i have opened to disconnect reconnect battery so not on guarantee ( i though it wasn t but it was )

obviously power + level sound ; reset near sim card

my problem is my xperia c is not turning on,, i tried fixing it via pc companion,, and yet not a solution,, it just blink red and green led light.. pls help me,, my flash tool detects it for just a minute and then disconnected..

I had the same problem and the phone wont recharge or turn on. Soft reset wont do it (Power + volume up)

I fixed it by doing a hard reset. Plug in your USB charger but remove your sim and SD cards, in the SIM slot, there is a red button. Hold it for a few seconds and you will feel 3 vibration (like soft reset).

I am using sony Xperia E3. suddenly, my mobile got hanged. i am not able to restart. while switching on, it is showing sony. after that it is not going inside. i tried to repair my os by sony pc suite. eventhough it is not working. they told me to press up/down volume key + power button. i tried all. please suggest me some sollution.
