Trying to add a lockscreen widget but keep getting this error message "unfortunately settings has stopped working". Need help.

Try settings-apps-all-scroll down to settings app,clear data and force stop.Restart the phone.

If the suggestions above doesn't help, I would suggest that you try to boot your phone into safe mode to see if the problem may be related to any 3rd party app that you have installed in your phone:

I have the same problem of settings has stopped, but only when i go to Settings->Security->install certificates from internal storage.

I have tried the ways u have mentioned to clear data and all that.

But it didnt still worked . what should i do.
