My phone is hanging frequently and i dont have any option to hard reboot the phone. Any suggestions how to restart hanged xperia C

Press and hold power & volume up for 5 seconds

After googling did the same, but it doesn't restart.

Then do the same thing for 10sec. Until it vibrates 3 times

Press and hold the power button and volume up for at least 30 seconds and it should restart.

my xperia c, i tried to reboot it . i tried to hold the volume up and power but it's not working. it always open. what are the other options to hard reboot it. i tried also the sony pc companion but it always same when it gets to the process to hold the volume up and power.
