PS4 keeps restarting on Sony KDL-50W805C

Just got the TV a few days ago, and its amazing piece of tech.

Today, after a PS4 session, I tried several times to turn off my ps4, while the tv was still on, only to realise that the ps4 was instead RESTARTING, after every attept to turn it off from within the ps4 console menu.

is there a setting I need to change?

any help would be more than welcome.

Hi there

I have the 43" version of your TV with a PS4 connected and have no issues. Can i suggest replacing the HDMI cable with another one - even if its just to test?

thank you. in some way, your suggestion resolved my problem.

what I did, I changed the ps4 hdmi from port2 to 1 and for some reason now i have no issues anymore. many thanks
