Not reciving firmware / software updates KD-49XF9005

Hi, I am new to this forum. I have a KD-49XF9005 and looking at the updates it has not been updated for sometime. The last update is PKG6.5629.0177EUA., the Android security patch is dated 1st Aug 2018. I have checked the privacy setting and it is as it should be for online updates. The internet connection is wired and working, WiFi is turned off. So my question is what do I need to do to get the TV to update its firmware and software? Updates for BRAVIA are flaky as hell. Every single major Android TV update had to be withdrawn eventually. Hardly anybody gets OTA updates as Sony seems to be afraid of bricking too many sets. So they leave that up to the customers at their own risk.

Patch level being dated back to 2018 is a major disaster. BRAVIAs should really be taken offline, even with latest FW.
