Reinstall Chromecast on AF9

I have an issue where Now TV does not work with the built in Chromecast on my AF9. All other cast enabled apps do.

Now TV have asked me to delete and reinstall the Chromecast app on the TV. Is this possible/safe to do? I don’t want to lose my ability to cast other material.

I have the same problem...Chromecast built in not working on the Same A9f Tv.

is there any resolution to this?

In the end it was only the one App, Sky’s Now TV, that wouldn’t work with the inbuilt Chromecast. All my other apps such as NFL Game Pass worked fine with it.

Sky ended up telling me they didn’t support inbuilt Chromecast as it was different to other Chromecast.

my case is different in that regardless of the app I am using the built in Chromecast doesn’t work 😞
