Wall install power brick solution

I just purchase an XG83 series and I installed on the wall. I placed the power brick behind the tv between the wall and back of the tv. Is not touching the tv. Is this ok? It has plenty of ventilation. I did this because I have prepared a power outlet behind the tv.

I am asking maybe it can affect tv.

Hello @micallefgilbert,

I would say that neither the TV nor the power brick will get too hot.

If you have concerns, I would purchase/lend a infrared camera or laser thermometer to check what the maximum temperature is.

Thanks Nik for the reply. Apart from the temperature i was more worried that the power brick can have some magnetic field that can somehow effect the tv. Thanks

Hello @micallefgilbert,

The magnetic field around power bricks is rather weak, also aside from cathode ray tube TVs the newer panel types aren't really affected by magnetic fields anymore from what I can tell.
