Had my oled for less than 18 months and that screen has gone all messed up in the centre and is getting worse. Has anyone had this issue before and is there anything I can do to get it fixed before I put it in the skip

Have you tried contacting Sony support? 18-months old, it would be a waste to put it in a skip if it can be fixed, especially as they aren't cheap TV's.

Contacted Sony multiple times to be told I was out of warranty. The TV was a replacement from my last TV. I was promised a new 5 year warranty from Sony and from my dealer. I contacted my dealer when this issue came up for them to report it to Sony 10 days after my warranty end from my last TV. Neither my dealer or Sony upheld what was discussed when the exchanged happened and with no written proof am stuck with it.
