Oreo 8 auto update has broken my tv

My Sony KD- 65XE9005 auto updated the latest software. The consequence of this I now have a tv that simply reboots on every power command from the remote

glitchy wifi lots of errors running steaming servers.

i downloaded the latest update not s usb stick by the message is that have the latest version,

basically my TV is practically unusable now indeterminate status.

this is very disappointing is anyone else experiencing this problem or know of a way to remove the latest update.

This does not relate to my product I am afraid. I tried to pier on off button and ignored the red green led as these don’t relate to my model.

my tv still goes through several android boot up when I turn on the tv, and is unstable using apps like net flix and bbc player

so the situation has not improved. Do you have any other solutions or do I need to. It a new TV?

i just need a single solution really not a list of options to try, the only thing that has changed is a auto update.

can you provide a targeted solution for my TV associated with multiple android reboots at switch on resulting from the software update

You should note that this is a user community so you are not communicating with Sony but just fellow customers.

If you haven’t already tried, I would perform a Factory Reset which cures many glitches. If that doesn’t help then perhaps contact Sony UK Support
