Pairing issues between sound bar and headphones

Hi Sony,

Hope you can please help.

I am having problems pairing my headphones with my recently purchased sound bar, My TV Connects to the sound bar fine, I can connect to my iPhone and play music through the sound bar, so far so good. However I would like to listen to my TV via the sound bar to my wireless headphones which are continually trying to pair, blue light flashing on the sound bar and I get voice message from headphones saying pairing, however how do I confirm the connection or does this happen automatically?

I specifically bought the sound bar so that I could listen via headphones so am so frustrated at the moment however could be a simple fix that I am overlooking?

Please help.

Hello @paul007bond,

as far as I am concerned you can only pair devices with your soundbar (smartphone/mp3-player/turntable) but you can't pair another playback devices (like headphones/speakers).

Usually you can pair bluetooth headphones directly to your TV.
